Ruth Rogers’ passion for fitness and health started at an early age being involved in several sports such as gymnastics and diving. Going into college she majored in Kinesiology and graduated from California Baptist University in Riverside California in 2007, specializing in exercise science.

Going back for yet another degree, she is currently working as a registered nurse while striving to educate others on living a healthy and active lifestyle. She finds it very important to find a balanced and healthy lifestyle, which is not easy by any means. As a certified Turbo Kickboxing instructor she believes that exercise and fitness comes from doing activities that bring joy and happiness.

This blog is designed to help women strive to live a healthy lifestyle, allowing women of all ages to not only look their best but to find that balance between healthy eating and enjoying a cookie here and there. Hopefully you find much of the information in this website useful and motivational in helping you to develop your approach toward exercise and health.

Ruth,

I didn’t realize you had a blog! I found it, and I’m so excited about this! However, I did notice the muffin issue :( haha. It’s actually quite alright because I have given up gluten because it gives me acne!
Your readers might want some books tips. “Nourishing Traditions” by Sally Fallon and “Fungus Link” by Kauffman are both great reads.
I miss you.
Love,
Chappy

I was just thinking about our mug and muffin dates the other day! I had to give up gluten for a while too. It was up setting my stomach. They thought I had ciliac disease, but it went away. Thanks for book tips. I will have to post one on it.
