PinExt Low Calorie Waffle Recipe

What better way to start out a Saturday morning than with a stack of waffles? Ihop does it best with crispy thick waffles soaked in butter, doused with strawberry or blueberry sauce and topped off with a mountain of whip cream. While these waffles might be done right, they sure do fail when it comes to their calorie count. These double-stacked waffles can round easily into a thousand calories when you top these bad boys off with the sugary goodness of maple syrup. Wowsers!

Not to mention that these calories don’t include the numerous sides that comes along with this order. Calculate up a side of seasoned hash browns (320 calories), eggs (250 calories), and sausage links (180 calories)… well, maybe we shouldn’t go there. You get the point. Starting the day off in the quadruple digit calorie count is not only depressing but can also put a damper on your waistline. But have no fear! She-Fit is here to present you with an alternative low fat waffle recipe full of waffley-goodness!
