Good Morning! It’s an EGG-celent day today, isn’t it?

Speaking of which, have you ever tried Egg Beaters? I have fallen in love with these things since I found them a few years ago. They taste just like regular eggs but with half the calories, all of the protein, and they are naturally fat- and cholesterol-free! You can’t beat that… only ¼ cup is a whooping 30 calories!

Ok, enough with the egg-beaters. Today I wanted to share with you my morning breakfast. I like to call it Egg Stir-Fry. It’s simple, easy and tastes so good!

Ingredients:

Egg Stir Fry1 150x1501 Have an Egg cellent Day!- ½ to ¾ cup Egg Beaters

- Broccoli

- Onions

- Bell Peppers

- Mushrooms

- Spinach

(Any of your favorite Veggies)

Directions:

- Stir-Fry Veggies and set aside

- Scramble Eggs

- Mix veggies with eggs

I know, I know… it sounds really difficult! That’s just how good of a chef I can be!

Like I stated in one of my pervious post, breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. Starting off with egg-beaters can make it even better for those of you trying to watch your waste line because it is packed with protein, an ingredient that is key to not only keeping you full longer, preventing those mid morning hunger pains, but also aids in rebuilding muscle… great for those of you who are daily working out. Research has even shown that women who started their day off with eggs lost twice as much weight!

Have an EGG-celent day and don’t forget to EGG-sercise ! ! !

Egg beaters are awesome. I usually have them with a little hot sauce and laughing cow cheese. They are my morning staple

I LOVE eggs. So much. I don’t eat egg beaters but I always have a carton of Simply Egg Whites in the fridge- you can find it right beside the Egg Beaters but I like it better because the only ingredient is egg whites. Your egg stirfry sounds delicious :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I recently gave egg beaters a try b/c I wanted something different for breakfast at work…GENIUS! I told friends about egg beaters and they’re like uh, why don’t you just use eggs? My reply – 1) they’re portable and don’t crack when you drop the container and 2) check the label! :)

I used to love egg beaters! I went vegan a month ago so now I’m looking for some vegan alternatives to scrambled eggs (like scrambled tofu)!

Interesting information about the eggs. Thanks for sharing.

I don’t eat egg beaters anymore because I now eat egg whites for the most part.
But I sure did like them when I did.
One of my favorite meals is egg & veggies. Doesn’t matter for what meal … I’ll eat em b, l or d.

Hello, and thanks for reading my blog! Yours look great, I look forward to following yours posts!

As for some good advice on giving up sweeteners, I’d say just start slow. If you use sweeteners in a lot of products, start buying the same products without, then slowly start using less in your coffee/drinks, etc. Basically, take one step at a time, don’t try quiting 100% right away, ya know? Baby steps are key!

Thanks for the question, and please feel free to ask me anything, anytime! Good luck :)

I agree that breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. I have found that fruit and vegetable smoothies do a great job of getting me through the morning without gut wrenching hunger pains. I have tended to stay away from the egg beaters since they are a processed food, and get yard eggs when they are available at the local feed store.

Great ideas on this site, thanks. I honestly took the plunge and got me some chickens last week! Now I have more eggs than I know what to do with!. You might like these egg recipes.
