Flatout Bread Light: Low Calorie Wrap Alternative
Flatout Flatbread Light. A great alternative to sandwiches and a low calorie option for wraps. They have the look of a tortilla, but thicker and doughy. They are made in a rectangle shape, preventing everything from falling out of the flatbread. Nothing makes me more frustrated than working so hard to make a perfect wrap and then it all falling apart when I pick it up.
Ranging at 90 calories, these wraps are gold when being on a diet and losing weight in comparison to Subway’s wraps that are a whooping 310 calories for the bread alone. . . What a difference! These fiber loaded, low carb, high protein wraps come in a variety of different flavors including sun dried tomatoes, italian herb, and multi-grain.
There are so many different ways to eat Flatout Bread. I love making breakfast burritos, sandwich wraps, pinwheel appetizers, fajita wraps, salads, quesadillas, french toast, and everyone’s all time favorite- – - PIZZA!
I love love love pizza, but hate how much butter, oil, and fat comes with it. Flatout bread pizza cuts this out and makes for a healthy alternative to ordering pizza. Try out this great low-fat, low-calorie flatout bread pizza recipe that is loaded with veggies!

I love making pizza out of Flat Out bread! I also like to use it for breakfast burritos and deli wraps. They’re hidden in my grocery store though – they’re not even with the other wraps!
August 12th, 2009 at 12:52 pm
That sounds so good! I’ve never had a flatout wrap before.

I love flatout wraps…my only gripe is they have like 500 mg of sodium! That just shows they are a bit overporcessed. I guess I want the best of both worlds, low cal and not processed. I don’t think this exists lol.

I love, love flatouts; I always forget about them though, so thank you for reminding me! I’ve definitely made a pizza on them before and it’s great; love how it turns out all crispy!

I used to love Flatout Bread, but I’ve developed a liking for Joseph’s Lavash Breads and tend to buy those now instead. However, I think they both work similarly, and I just love your pizza idea!

I LOVE Flatout bread!! I’ve never tried making pizza with it, but I think that’s a great idea. I usually just use them to make wraps, or sometimes I dip them in oil and bake them to make crispy chips/crackers. I like to use English muffins for my pizza, or Boboli wheat pizza crust.

I would have to say that you have pegged my favorite – flatbread pizza. Mmmm!

Haven’t tried them yet.
I am shocked… yet not shocked to hear about the Subway warps. That’s a ridiculous number of calories!

I may be one of the only dissenting voice, but I kinda felt like the flat out wraps taste like cardboard…
August 12th, 2009 at 8:14 pm
I haven’t had this brand of wraps (want to try them soon, though), but I’d probably like them best as a lunch sandwich-wrap or breakfast burrito!!

I love using the flatbread for tortilla roll-up appetizers. I don’t use them for pizza because I am addicted to my Lavash bread

I love filling them with chicken, feta cheese, tomatoes, and hummus. Also, scrambled eggs, with jelly and feta cheese.
