PinExt Floaters in the Pool

Can i just say how much I love hotels! I don’t know if it’s the fact that I live in an old dorm where the water pressure is weaker than a spider web or the fact that you never know when the hot water might run out. I love the fact that I get lost on such huge beds with more pillows that I can count or the fact that I can call someone when I need something rather than being woken up by students at 3 am because they need something fixed.

Really, I love the dorm life, but I REALLY love the hotel life.

This morning started out with the joys of watching people stumble down to get their Starbucks fix. It’s quiet the experience in seeing their transformation from the moment they get in line to their first sip of coffee.

Once the husband woke up we headed down to the pool for some lunch. I was starving so lunch occurred a little sooner than we hoped for. With little healthy options to choose from on the pool side grill menu, I opted for a Croissant Turkey Club without mayo. Thank God the curly fries were horrible! I ended up eating half of the sandwich and the other half without the bread.

The weather was excruciatingly hot which meant the pool was a must! While James was working on his tan and I attempting to avoid a heat stroke in the pool, some kid decides to take a dump in the pool. So much for a relaxing day by the pool, this little turd caused the pool to be shut down for 2 hours. The heat was just too much to bear through the wait.

After showering up we headed out to an outdoor shopping area where we got our walk on. No Gym today leaves for much needed exercise and what better way to fit it in than shopping?!?!?! For our anniversary we got matching Rainbow FlipFlops (Picture to come tomorrow)

And with much walking came a very hungry and irritable girl. We decided tonight would be a low key meal since we would be celebrating our 3 year anniversary over a huge meal tomorrow night. Since we both have different tastes in food we headed to the food court and my eyes instantly found Panda Express.

Instead of rice or noodles I got the mixed veggies and my 2 entrees included broccoli & beef with black peppered chicken.

And on the drive back I spotted a Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt. I think I have a magnetic field for these places because I can always spot one of these places a mile away. After a few samples I ended up choosing St. Patricks Mint, Chocolate, & Peanut Butter. My life is complete!

And the night ended with a calm night on the balcony, watching the sun set.

What a wonderful time for the most part!
