Jillian Michaels 30-Day Shred
Jillian Michaels is probably the most intimidating person on the Biggest Loser. Personally, she scares me! But I guess fear can be used to stay on the treadmill or walk away from those Oreos. However, her drive, determination, and wisdom has changed the lives of people all over the world.
I received the Jillian Michaels- 30-Day Shred for christmas. I have heard so many different reviews that I thought it was about time that I try it out for myself. Jillian Michaels can be tough, but at least she has proven herself to know what she is doing.
I will give a low down for those of you out there that have never tried Jillian Michael’s workout video. The 30-day Shred is broken down into 3 different levels of 20 minutes each. Each level contains 3 rotations of cardio, lifting, and abs. The only down fall is that it can get monotonous after doing the same routine for 30 days.
The time goes by so fast while working out with Jillian Michaels and your body will be sweating and shaking by the end. I could barely get out of bed the next morning after completing Day 1 of the 30 day Shred. It might sound sickening, but there is nothing better than the feeling of your entire body aching after a good workout!
I’m sure many of you have tried Jillian Michaels 30 day shred! What are your thoughts on the workout?

I have the 30 Day Shred and like to do it on days I can’t make it to the gym and am short on time. I feel I get a good workout in a very short amount of time. However, I don’t understand the idea behind doing the exact same workout every day. I thought you are supposed to alternate workouts and give your muscles some rest… Anyway, as I said, I like doing it once in a while.

I am a HUGE fan of jil jil to the point that I am doing a Jillian challenge for the month of January. I will either do one of her dvd’s or her new wii Game. I am doing the 6 month Resolution in her game and I love it!
I love that sore feeling too. I love when I laugh and my belly hurts lol

I sadly haven’t seen an entire episode of Biggest Loser, so I don’t know what Jillian is like! I’ll have to watch this new season! I hear great things about the 30 day shred though!

Haha, I totally agree … I love the feeling of being really sore from working out!

The 30 day shred is the ONLY workout dvd that I do. I really like it- it’s super challenging, I like her attitude during the video, and it’s nice and quick!

I’m doing the 30 Day Shred this month too! Today was day 3 for me, and I’m not as sore as yesterday.

I hve been doing the Shred since mid-December and am on Level 2. I thought I was pretty fit and strong before this, but I was wrong. This DVD fits an intense workout into a short period of time, which is great for busy people like me. I have really noticed a difference in my body. And for the record, each level has different exercises, so you can mix the levels up when you have mastered all 3, which I must say, will be quite a challenge for me.

This sounds like something I ought to try. I am ordering it today because it will take a good 2 weeks to arrive, that should give me a little time to build up some stamina
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I’d like to hear more as you progress through the program.

I also bought this DVD several weeks ago. I really like it a lot. One of the best things about it is that it goes so fast! I love it.

I LOVE the 30 day shred. I’ve been doing it since September. I’ve lost about 12 inches doing this. After about 3 months of it (i started rotating the levels after i ‘mastered’ level 3) I had to buy new dvds. I love her other two: banish fat, boost metabolism and No more trouble zones. All excellent work outs!
