As I woke up and stretched my arms out, I quickly retracted them in agony. Bootcamps effects are kicking in. Between my legs and arms, I am quiet the dysfunctional walker. But that feeling of being sore is so addicting.
As a cardio lover, I always said that I loved doing cardio more than lifting weight because I could feel the immediate effects of blood rushing though my body and sweat dripping off onto the floor. This morning I woke up with a new outlook on lifting weights. While I don’t feel the immediate results of lifting weights, I sure feel them the next day. I might sure into a weight lifting junky!
“Operation Get it Right & Tight”
Yesterday was my kick-off of “Operation Get It Right & Tight.” In light of my college roommate getting married next spring, I have joined her in an operation to get fit and in shape before her wedding.
This bridesmaid ain’t displaying back fat for no one’s wedding pictures!
Watch out body builder’s cuz this intimidated girl is moving into the weight lifting room no matter how big and bulky you look. (Yes, they scare me… Maybe Bootcamp will have to do for now)
Speaking of being scared, my new roommate just scurried across the living room floor… Can someone please get me a mousetrap!
Anyways… after I was rudely interrupted by out new intruder.
With Operation Get it Right & Tight underway, I made a trip to Costco… and their samples. I was in dyer need of a few healthified snacks to keep me for snooping into my husband’s section of the kitchen.
… You can see why it can be so tempting to wander his way.
But now I’m stocked with more than enough veggies and snacks to prevent temptation from taking over.
My List included, but not limited to samples:
One of my all time favorite finds from Costco that is a MUST on your shopping list is Jalapeno Yogurt Dip. This stuff is seriously addicting and perfect for just about anything.
This is a perfect alternative for ranch dressing dip for veggies with only 50 calories per 2 tablespoons and 3g of protein. I’ve also used it as a sauce for plain chicken breasts or as a spread on sandwiches.
Welp, I’m off to work tonight. Let’s just hope I don’t have the same crazy patient who stated that I was “worse than being married to a man.” This lady is seriously crazy!

If you know me, you know I love the weights!!! They will tighten you up big time of the food is right!
The dip looks great but best keep to portion control or calories add up!
