<h3><span style="color: #000000;">Chip-O-Top-Lay, Chipoodle&#8230; oh right, Chipotle!</span></h3>
<h3><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1173" title="chipotle" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/chipotle-300x217.jpg" alt="chipotle 300x217 Chipotle: Healthy Options" width="210" height="152" /></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;">Chipotle Mexican Grill is a great fresh fast-food mexican chain that allows you to build your own taco, burrito, salad, or burrito bowl. From the looks of it, one would think it would be healthy, but hidden underneath that burrito lays over 1,200 calories! Yep, you heard me right. . . maybe it has to do with the fact that their burritos are bigger than my face. You definitely can&#8217;t say that you don&#8217;t get your money worth here! ! !</span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;">Calories add up fast and you don&#8217;t even realize it when you add a little guacamole here, a scoop of sour cream there, a hand full of cheese, and oh wait&#8230; don&#8217;t forget the lime chips&#8230; they are by far God&#8217;s gift to mankind! Oh man, I&#8217;m hungry! However, Chipotle can be healthy when you load up on all their veggies. </span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-1177" title="C6FC16658289FA52547AB0BA4F584" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/C6FC16658289FA52547AB0BA4F5842.jpg" alt="C6FC16658289FA52547AB0BA4F5842 Chipotle: Healthy Options" width="158" height="158" />So how do you eat healthy at Chipotle?</span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;">For one, don&#8217;t eat the entire Chipotle meal. Portions these days have gotten ridiculous&#8230; especially at Chipotle! Check out this older post on <a href="http://she-fit.com/visualizing_portion_sizes/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #ff0000;">Visualizing Portion Control</span></a> and then go compare your burrito&#8230; you might understand me then.</span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;">For those of you who are like me and &#8220;accidently&#8221; end up eating the whole meal without realizing it, cut your meal in half and bag it up before you even begin to eat. This way you aren&#8217;t mindlessly eating till it&#8217;s gone&#8230; and having to roll yourself out of the store <img src='http://she-fit.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt="icon smile Chipotle: Healthy Options" class='wp-smiley' title="Chipotle: Healthy Options" /> </span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-1179" title="9d7556c416061f7f_m" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/9d7556c416061f7f_m-300x225.jpg" alt="9d7556c416061f7f m 300x225 Chipotle: Healthy Options" width="210" height="158" />For a burrito or taco, skip out on the guacamole, sour cream, and cheese. . . this saves you nearly 400 calories. If you want to save an extra 300 calories, opt out on the burrito and go for the burrito bowl- without the tortilla</span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;">Just because you are skipping out on the tortilla, doesn&#8217;t mean you should add on extra rice and beans. Fill up your bowl with veggies and ask for lite rice and black beans.</span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-1182" title="burrito_bowl" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/burrito_bowl2.png" alt="burrito bowl2 Chipotle: Healthy Options" width="231" height="183" />And for those of you that want to be extremely good, go all the way for a salad. These are my favorite because the sauteed bell peppers and onions is a perfect addition to a tasty meal. Add in tomatoes and corn and you are set! </span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;">TOSS THE SALAD DRESSING- 260 calorie, 25g of fat!</span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;">My go to Chipotle meal includes a salad with extra Lettuce, lite Black  Beans (for protein), extra Fajita Veggies, Fresh Tomato Salsa, Mild Salsa, and Corn Salsa and one Soft Corn Tortilla on the side = 305 Calories, 3.5g Fat, 12g Protein </span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;">7 Weight Watchers Points Plus Points</span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;">While Chipotle might have 1,200 burritos, there are ways around it. So make sure you have a plan before heading into the store.</span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #000000;"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-1184" title="images-3" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/images-31.jpeg" alt=" Chipotle: Healthy Options" width="87" height="65" />This handy dandy <a href="http://www.chipotlefan.com/index.php?id=nutrition_calculator" target="_blank"><span style="color: #ff0000;">Chipotle Calculator</span></a> is great to building your own meal. Make sure to use this the next time you head out to Chipotle.</span></h3>
<h3 style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em>Question: What is your favorite combo meal at Chipotle?</em></span></span></h3>
<h2 style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #000000;">Adios Amigos!</span></h2>

<p><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/images4.jpeg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2781" title="images" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/images4.jpeg" alt=" Five Solutions to the Dieter’s Driving Dilemma" width="240" height="175" /></a></p>
<p>The holidays can be a very difficult time to stick to a healthy diet &#8211; especially if you are traveling. Something about long road trips in a car seems to make drivers crave caffeine, sugar, and salt. It can be tempting to get fast food or a bag of chips and a soda along the way &#8211; perhaps rationalizing that it&#8217;s necessary in order to stay awake. But it&#8217;s worth taking the time to plan how to avoid the trap of eating junk food while driving. A healthier drive will get you to your holiday destination feeling good and ready to celebrate.</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Sing while you are driving.</strong> Alternatively, return phone calls using a hands-free Bluetooth or speaker for your cell phone. If you are busy singing or talking, it will be harder for you to snack and drive. At the same time, singing or talking will help to keep you awake if you are driving at night or while otherwise sleep-deprived. Moreover, if you happen to have a baby or toddler in the car on your way to a holiday gathering, singing can be a lifesaver for other reasons!</li>
<li><strong><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/woman-singing-microphone-vintage-525.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2793" title="woman-singing-microphone-vintage-525" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/woman-singing-microphone-vintage-525-300x212.jpg" alt="woman singing microphone vintage 525 300x212 Five Solutions to the Dieter’s Driving Dilemma" width="240" height="170" /></a>Pack a bento box or other lunch or snack box.</strong> If you know that you will have to eat on the road, you might as well plan for it and pack foods that are relatively healthy and easy to eat while driving. Include water bottles and plenty of napkins as well! Here are some good options:
<ul>
<li><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/how-to-pack-a-healthy-lunch-1.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2786" title="how-to-pack-a-healthy-lunch-1" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/how-to-pack-a-healthy-lunch-1-300x300.jpg" alt="how to pack a healthy lunch 1 300x300 Five Solutions to the Dieter’s Driving Dilemma" width="240" height="240" /></a><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Grapes</span></li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Bananas</span></li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Oranges or other citrus fruits</span> (pre-peeled and segmented)</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Apples </span>(you may want to slice apples and dip them in lemon juice before packing them)</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Cucumber slices or baby carrots</span> with plenty of salt. The salt will help you overcome cravings for chips or French fries.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Pickle slices</span> (carefully drained and wrapped up ahead of time, or they will get drippy)</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nuts</span>, any kind. Nuts are high in fat, but studies have shown that the fat in nuts tends not to turn into excess pounds. Instead, the body uses it up quickly.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Dried fruit.</span> Dried fruit is high in sugar, which is both good and bad. The sugar in the fruit will help to reduce your sugar cravings while driving, but it will also add calories. Still, dried fruit is high in fiber and is nutritionally dense &#8211; so if it is your best option, go for it.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Popcorn</span>.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Sandwiches</span>. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches work very well for driving, as they tend to stay stuck together. Another good option is hummos or baba ganouj (an eggplant spread) in a pita pocket with sprouts or tomato slices. The hummos will keep the sandwich stuck together and sprouts and tomato slices are usually not heavy enough to fall out and end up in an odd nook or corner of your car.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">A breakfast smoothie</span>, if you are leaving in the morning without eating breakfast. You will want to drink your smoothie right away, before it starts to melt. Add protein powder or make a peanut butter smoothie, so that you have enough protein in your breakfast to last you for a few hours.</li>
<li><span style="text-decoration: underline;">A thermos of soup broth</span>. Make sure that this is something that you can pour into a commuter cup and drink &#8211; no chunky soups unless you are going to make time to stop and eat a stationary lunch.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><strong>Find places to pick up healthy fast food along the way</strong>. If you don&#8217;t have time to stop and eat, finding a healthy food choice will be trickier. A salad is one thing you can&#8217;t (or shouldn&#8217;t) eat while you are driving, for safety&#8217;s sake. However, there are still options:
<ul>
<li><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/subway-sandwich.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2791" title="subway sandwich" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/subway-sandwich-300x225.jpg" alt="subway sandwich 300x225 Five Solutions to the Dieter’s Driving Dilemma" width="216" height="162" /></a>Find a health food store that offers prepackaged sandwiches and sushi. Both are relatively easy to eat one-handed.</li>
<li>Find someplace to buy a smoothie that has protein added to it.</li>
<li>Get a fast food sandwich, but make it a bare bones sandwich with the sauces left off, and resist the temptation to have French fries with it.</li>
<li>Find a fast food place that specializes in healthier foods, or one that offers healthier choices as part of its menu.</li>
<li>Opt for a veggie burger if you have a choice between a gardenburger full of vegetables and a traditional burger made of meat. Even with a veggie burger, though, watch out for a restaurant&#8217;s special sauces.</li>
<li>Look for a burrito, since they are easy to eat one-handed, but be careful. Don&#8217;t go for a Qdoba-style burrito, which has rice added to it and is the size of three or four normal burritos. Note that refried beans tend to have a lot of fat. Have the restaurant hold the cheese and sour cream as well because that will bring the calorie count down into a reasonable range.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><strong>If you need caffeine, have some &#8211; but be mindful </strong>of the fat and calorie content of some caffeinated drinks. A cup of black coffee or plain green tea are better choices. Be aware, as well, that caffeine can be an appetite stimulant for some people.</li>
<li><strong><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/green-tea.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2792" title="green-tea" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/green-tea-295x300.jpg" alt="green tea 295x300 Five Solutions to the Dieter’s Driving Dilemma" width="212" height="216" /></a>Take mini-exercise breaks along the way</strong>. The shortest exercise break of all is to do yoga stretches whenever you come to a stoplight. These should help to relieve some of the tension that you may be carrying in your arms, neck, shoulders, and back from your long drive. Here are some you can try:
<ul>
<li><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/stretching.preview.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2783" title="stretching.preview" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/stretching.preview-300x300.jpg" alt="stretching.preview 300x300 Five Solutions to the Dieter’s Driving Dilemma" width="216" height="216" /></a>Lean forward. Snake one arm behind your back, with your hand moving up, and snake the other arm down behind one shoulder. Try to have both your hands meet. Then reverse the position (maybe at the next stoplight?).</li>
<li>Turn in your seat as if you are looking over your shoulder to change lanes. This creates a spinal twist. Make sure that you sit up as tall as you can while twisting. Then twist in the other direction and look over the other shoulder. Try to make your spinal twists about equal to each other in terms of how far you turn.</li>
<li>Do neck rolls. Let your head drop down to your chest. Tilt your head to try to allow your ear and shoulder to meet (and then try the other ear and shoulder). Tilt your head backward. Roll your head all the way around, if that&#8217;s comfortable and healthy for you, and then roll it in the other direction.</li>
<li>Do shoulder rolls, forward and back, with each shoulder.</li>
<li>Try side bends. Lean to one side, letting the opposite arm slide across your head in a crescent shape. Then lean the other direction, using the other arm.</li>
<li>If you are able to take the time, stop for mini-exercise breaks outside the car as well. Park far from any door that you need to enter. Climb stairs when you have the opportunity. If you must sit and wait somewhere, try doing seated yoga poses. Some are very unobtrusive. For example, you can do a seated lunge poised on the edge of a chair, by allowing one leg to bend and then stretching the other leg out behind you. Or you can stretch your legs out straight in front of you and lean over and touch your toes. Don&#8217;t be self-conscious &#8211; nobody will be surprised to see a driver doing a few stretches after getting out of a car</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ol>
<p>However you end up handling the eating and driving dilemma, be careful. The National Highway Traffic Safety<br />
Administration says that eating and driving causes more traffic accidents than talking on a handheld cell phone while driving. If you spill something, pull over to the side of the road to clean it up. Many drivers have accidents by trying to clean up a spill and keep driving at the same time. Be especially careful if you are driving a stick shift car as stick shifts double your risk of an accident if you are eating and driving simultaneously.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">Keeping track of what is being put in the mouth is made easy with a nutrition tracker that will add up all your calories, carbs, proteins, and fat to find that balanced diet. Sparkpeople offers daily meal plans around your caloric needs, or you can input your own meals. </span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">An exercise tracker is used to keep count of how many calories are being burned as well.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #993366;"><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/spark-exercise.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1948" title="spark exercise" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/spark-exercise.jpg" alt="spark exercise Sparkpeople: A Healthy Living Community" width="365" height="307" /></a></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">A nutrition and exercise tracker is great, but without a community there is no accountability! <a href="http://www.sparkpeople.com"><span style="color: #3366ff;">Sparkpeople</span> </a>has a message board where people can find healthy recipes, motivation, support, and a place to voice weight loss frustrations and achievements. I love the replied I get, not only from the sparkpeople dieticians/coaches, but also the members. When I need advice on my diet or support/motivation when I feel burnt out, someone is always there for me to push me through. </span></strong></p>
<p><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/sparkpeople1.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1964" title="sparkpeople" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/sparkpeople1.jpg" alt="sparkpeople1 Sparkpeople: A Healthy Living Community" width="450" height="262" /></a><span style="color: #ff6600;"><br />
</span></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">Other things you can find on this website are great articles on nutrition, exercise, motivation, and health topics. You can join sparkteams that focus on different topics/interests such as clean eating, specific age groups, and running. </span></strong><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">You can find tons of <a href="www.sparkrecipes.com" target="_blank"><span style="color: #3366ff;">great recipes</span></a> ranging from low calorie to high protein meals that can spice up your diet and prevent food boredom.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">I love sparkpeople and can’t believe that so many people have never heard about it before. This site is great not only for people that want to lose weight, but also for those with diabetes, heart problems, and other health related issues in which to help control their specific diets and stay on track to a health living! So what are you waiting for, go check it out!!!</span></strong></p>
<h2 style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: #993366;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><span style="color: #993366;">Question</span></em></span></span></strong></h2>
<h3 style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: #993366;"><span style="color: #ff6600;"><span style="color: #993366;"> Have you heard about sparkpeople?<br />
Where is your community found in health living</span><span style="color: #993366;">?</span></span></span></strong></h3>

Families and individual’s these days are finding themselves eating on the road, while standing in the kitchen, sitting in front of the television, or in front of the computer at work.</span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #ff6600;"><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/fathers-day-dinner-lg2.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1925" title="fathers-day-dinner-lg" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/fathers-day-dinner-lg2-300x234.jpg" alt="fathers day dinner lg2 300x234 Eating Habits: Eating While Standing " width="300" height="234" /></a></span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #ff6600;">There are thousands of excuses to why people can’t find time to sit down for meals, but these excuses could be the culprit to an expanding waste line.</span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #ff6600;"><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/healthy-meal-portions2.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1929" title="healthy meal portions" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/healthy-meal-portions2-300x203.jpg" alt="healthy meal portions2 300x203 Eating Habits: Eating While Standing " width="122" height="84" /></a>Research has shown that those who sit down to a <em><span style="color: #ff0000;">COMPLETE</span></em> meal, as well as snacks, are less likely to eat more calories throughout the day.</span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #ff6600;">Sitting down to eat compared to standing up while eating plays a mental game with our food diary. The mind does not recognize when we eat on the go or while standing… leading us to snacking after the so called meal.</span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #ff6600;">Visually seeing everything laid out on a plate also helps to visually satisfy those cravings/hunger and helps one pay attention to what we are putting in our mouths. </span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #ff6600;">Eating while sitting down at the table compared to standing up or on the road ultimately makes the meal more satisfying and full.</span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #ff6600;"><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/what-is-normal-eating.png"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1935" title="what-is-normal-eating" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/what-is-normal-eating-300x199.png" alt="what is normal eating 300x199 Eating Habits: Eating While Standing " width="300" height="199" /></a></span></h3>
<h3><span style="color: #ff6600;">So the question is, are your excuses for not sitting down at the table valid. Do you really have an extra few minutes to walk to the table?</span></h3>
<h2 style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><span style="color: #800080;">Question</span></em></span></h2>
<h3 style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #800080;">Where do you typically eat your lunch or dinner? </span></h3>
<h3 style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #800080;">Do you eat your snacks on the go or sitting at the table without distractions?</span></h3>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #ff6600;"><br />

<p style="text-align: left;"><strong><span style="color: #000000;">In the 1990’s the Fat-Free Diet Fade struck the diet industry by surprise. The motto and diet / health mentalityof “Less is More” was taken up like it was going out of business. The food industry started making creating products appealing to this mentality by throwing in more preservatives and fake ingredients to slap a “fat-free” or “reduced-fat” label on it, making it easier for people to cut out all fats from their diet.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Low-fat-foods_edited-Framed1.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1813" title="Low-fat foods_edited-Framed" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Low-fat-foods_edited-Framed1.jpg" alt="Low fat foods edited Framed1 Dangers of a Low Fat Diet" width="250" height="212" /></a></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;">I have to admit, I am one that fell into this trap. I strayed far away from anything containing fats. Thanks to the diet food industry, by the end I was eating close to no fat in my daily dietary intake.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;">I mean, it makes sense, right?!?! Eat less fat and my body won’t put on the fat. . . WRONG! The body needs fat in order to function to its fullest. In fact, eating below the recommended daily fat intake can actually sabotage weight loss and put one’s health at risk.</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Here are 6 risks of eating a low fat diet</span></span></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #000000;">1.) Depression</span></span></em></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Depression.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1814" title="Depression" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Depression-254x300.jpg" alt="Depression 254x300 Dangers of a Low Fat Diet" width="125" height="147" /></a>Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids play a vital role in regulating mood behavior. A diet low in fat can throw people into depression, bipolar disorders, and ADHA. Foods high in omega 3 fatty acids include fish, flex seed oil, leafy greens, and walnuts Foods high in omega 6 fatty acids include sunflower, safflower, corn, cottonseed, walnut and soybean oil.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #000000;">2.) Poor Vitamin Absorption</span></span></em></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Vitamin-Supplements.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1819" title="Vitamin-Supplements" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Vitamin-Supplements-300x225.jpg" alt="Vitamin Supplements 300x225 Dangers of a Low Fat Diet" width="210" height="158" /></a>Fat soluble vitamins including A, D, E, K depend on fats in one’s diet in order to be absorbed. Not getting enough fats in a diet will cause these essential vitamins to be quickly excreted without any benefit to the body leading to increased bleeding, decreased vision, poor skin, decreased bone density and teeth breakdown.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #000000;">3.) Increased Risk of Cancer</span></span></em></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Cancer-cell-brain.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1821" title="Cancer-cell-brain" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/Cancer-cell-brain-300x236.jpg" alt="Cancer cell brain 300x236 Dangers of a Low Fat Diet" width="180" height="142" /></a>The New York Times published a study showing that people increased their chances of cancer when on a low fat diet. One might think they are doing their body a favor by reducing their fat intake, but in the long run, they are going to be paying for it!</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #000000;">4.) Heart Disease</span></span></em></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/heart-disease.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1827" title="heart-disease" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/heart-disease-212x300.jpg" alt="heart disease 212x300 Dangers of a Low Fat Diet" width="94" height="132" /></a>A decrease in fat intake causes the body to decrease in HDL (good cholesterol) which works to excrete and keep the level of LDL’s (bad cholesterol) down. This leads to high cholesterol and ultimately heart attacks, strokes, and other heart diseases </span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #000000;">5.) Overeating</span></span></em></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/overeating.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1824" title="overeating" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/overeating-200x300.jpg" alt="overeating 200x300 Dangers of a Low Fat Diet" width="90" height="134" /></a>Low-Fat food products can be very sneaky! They like to play with our minds and tricks one into thinking they can eat more of it because it’s low fat. Studies show that people tend to eat more because they think they are eating “low-fat” when really these products have just as many calories, carbohydrates, and if not more sugar.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="color: #000000;">6.) Imbalanced Nutrition</span></span></em></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><a href="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/nutrition_balance.jpg"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1825" title="nutrition_balance" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/nutrition_balance-300x225.jpg" alt="nutrition balance 300x225 Dangers of a Low Fat Diet" width="180" height="135" /></a>When one goes down, one must come up. Decreasing fat intake forces people to compensate in other areas. People usually end up eating more carbohydrates while on a low-fat diet which has been proven to increase one’s appetite and chances of Type 2 diabetes.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><br />
</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;">Just like over eating dietary fats can lead to detrimental problems, so can under eating fats. People seem to forget that moderation is key when it comes to dietary fat intake. If this list doesn’t force you to become more aware of your dietary fat intake, than I don’t know what will!</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="color: #000000;">Check out the table below to find out how many fats you should be in ta</span><span style="color: #000000;">king each day: </span></span></strong></p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">I had such a great birthday weekend back home in California. I’m usually running around all over the place trying to see everyone when I go home, but this trip I decided to dedicate to my family. And what a great decision it ended up being!!! My husband and brother were both gone at a 4-day conference so it was so nice to have my parents all to myself.</h3>
<h3>Here are a few pictures from the weekend… my camera battery died so I didn’t get many pictures.</h3>
<h3>

<p>My husband definitely knows me! For my birthday he got me The Wave by The FIRM. I had never seen or heard about The Wave workout, so I was very interested to see how it worked. I love all of The Firm workout DVDs so I had high hopes for this one. It came with a board, 3 DVDs, and a success guide with nutrition tips.</h3>

The arched board can be used as astep or can be flipped over as a rocker. And let me tell you, the rocker works the whole body trying to balance on it.</h3>
<h3><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1498" title="The Wave Workout The Firm" src="http://she-fit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/The-Wave-Workout-The-Firm-300x190.jpg" alt="The Wave Workout The Firm 300x190 The Wave by THE FIRM" width="300" height="190" />I love this workout! I would say that I am more of a cardio girl &#8230; I hate lifting weights. This workout involves lifting weights, but it didn’t really phase me because I was moving so much while lifting. The time definitely goes by way too fast and my whole body feels it by the end of the workout. The only down fall- I’m so clumsy that one day I know that I am going to trip or fall off the board. When that day comes I will be sure to let you know.</h3>
