I won, I won!
Thanks to Mother Rimmy’s Cooking Light Done Right, I won a package of NuNaturals Stevia products. The package included a box of 50 single serving packets of White Stevia Powder, More Fiber Stevia Baking Blend, Pure White Stevia Extract, Pure Liquid Clear Stevia, Cocoa Bean Extract Pure Liquid, Alcohol Free Stevia Liquid, and Pure Liquid Vanilla Stevia.
I grew up on sweeteners, especially sweet n low. Hands down I can go through 10-15 sweet n low packets in a day. I put it on everything to satisfy my sweet tooth to the point now where no other sweetener does justice. Sugar doesn’t even come close to sweetening up my ice tea… unless I use a cup of it. Unfortunately for me my addiction to sweet n low has found me in a funk with aspartame. While I know that aspartame can do some major damage, I just can’t seem to find away out of this addiction, until I met Stevia. Stevia is an all-natural, plant-based sweetener from South America. While it is one of the newer sweeteners to the market, stevia is been found to be one of the safest sweeteners.
NuNaturals Stevia is all 100% natural, free from aspartame, saccharin, sucralose, and high-fructose corn syrup. There product is a perfect way to bake, cook, or simply add to your iced coffee without adding additional sugar and carbohydrates.
Along with the all the products that NuNaturals Stevia sent, I also received a huge packet of recipes to try with their products. And while they aren’t the healthiest recipes in the book, I thought I would pick my favorite recipe and share with you guys. I used a few different ingredients to cut down on the sugar and fat and changed up the fruit… Blueberries and Pomegranates make one great combination!
